Description
This is a broad laboratory blood test panel for men, analysed from a single sample. Panels of this kind cover several groups of markers at once, usually including a full blood count, liver and kidney function, cholesterol, blood sugar and some hormone levels; the analyte list supplied with the kit is the one that applies.
The report gives each result against a reference range. A result inside the range is not a clean bill of health, and one outside it is not by itself a diagnosis, since both have to be read alongside your symptoms, history and medicines. The panel does not screen for cancer and does not replace an appointment with a doctor.
Follow the fasting and timing instructions, because several markers depend on them.
