Always Sensitive Night are period pads shaped for overnight use, supplied ten to a pack, from the range intended for skin that reacts to other pads. They are longer than a day pad, since flow tends to track backwards when lying down. The pad is held in the gusset of underwear and worn outside the body; it is changed on waking, and every few hours through the day, then wrapped and put in a bin.
Skin that stays red or sore between periods needs assessment rather than another change of pad. Bleeding heavy enough to soak through a night pad, bleeding between periods, severe pelvic pain or a fever needs medical advice.
