Bloom & Blossom The Very Hungry Caterpillar Baby Moisturiser is a 200ml moisturiser for babies and young children, in packaging themed around the picture book. It is smoothed over the skin after a bath or whenever the skin looks dry, using a small amount and letting it absorb. Baby skin is thinner than adult skin and loses water more readily, which is why a simple moisturiser is often used from early on.
It is a cosmetic moisturiser rather than a treatment for eczema, cradle cap or any other condition, and a persistent rash in a baby needs assessment rather than a cream. Avoid the eye area, patch test on a small area first, and stop using it if the skin becomes red or sore.
