Description
Calpol SixPlus Fastmelts are paracetamol tablets that dissolve on the tongue, so they can be taken without water. They are intended for children from six years of age who prefer a tablet to a liquid. Paracetamol relieves pain and reduces a raised temperature, and is used for headache, toothache, earache, sore throat, aches and pains, and the discomfort of colds and flu.
The tablet is placed on the tongue and allowed to melt, or it can be chewed or swallowed with water. Follow the number of tablets given for the child’s age on the pack. Doses are taken no more often than every four hours, with no more than four doses in any twenty-four hours. Do not give them alongside any other medicine containing paracetamol. Speak to a pharmacist or doctor if symptoms last more than three days.
