Description
Canesbalance Bacterial Vaginosis Vaginal Gel is used to relieve the symptoms of bacterial vaginosis, in particular unusual discharge and a strong or fishy odour. Bacterial vaginosis occurs when the balance of bacteria that normally live in the vagina shifts and the vaginal environment becomes less acidic than usual. The gel comes in single use applicators and is inserted into the vagina, usually at night so it stays in place, for the number of days given on the pack.
Some discharge of gel the following day is expected. Speak to a pharmacist or doctor before use during pregnancy, and see a doctor if there is pelvic pain, fever, unusual bleeding, or if symptoms return soon after a course finishes or do not settle.
