Description
Cetraben Bath Additive is poured into bath water for dry, itchy or eczema prone skin. It spreads through the water and leaves an oily film on the skin as the person gets out, which slows water loss, so pat the skin dry rather than rubbing it. Use the amount stated on the pack and keep the bath warm rather than hot, because hot water dries the skin further.
It is intended alongside a leave on emollient rather than instead of one, since the film a bath additive leaves is thin. The bath and the floor become slippery, so take care getting in and out, supervise children closely and never leave a child alone in the bath. Rinse the bath afterwards.
