Description
These are medium sized hydrocolloid plasters for blisters on the foot, five to a pack. Hydrocolloid is a soft gel that takes up fluid from the surface of the skin and forms a cushion over it, so the blister is padded against further rubbing and kept moist while it settles. The plaster is designed to stay on for several days, through washing, and to loosen at its edges by itself when it is ready to come away, rather than being pulled off.
Apply it to clean, dry skin, then press and warm it with the fingers for a few seconds so the edges seal. Leave it in place instead of lifting it to check. Do not use it on skin that looks infected, and have the area seen if it becomes more painful, red or swollen.
