Description
These are washable gloves worn over the hands by people with eczema or dermatitis on the hands. They serve two purposes: they hold an emollient or a prescribed cream in contact with the skin, which is why they are often put on at night after applying treatment, and they reduce the damage done by scratching in sleep. They are washable and reusable, so a pair can be laundered between uses; the pack states the wash temperature.
This pack is size medium and contains one pair, so a second pair is useful if they are worn nightly. Gloves do not treat eczema on their own. They work alongside emollients and any treatment a prescriber has advised, and they should not be worn over skin that is infected without advice.
