Description
A 100ml pump spray used to clean minor wounds. Spraying is a gentler way to clean a graze than wiping, because the liquid lifts loose dirt without dragging a cloth across raw skin, and the nozzle does not have to touch the wound. Hold the bottle a short distance from the wound, spray until the area is wet, then let it drain and pat the surrounding skin dry before applying a dressing.
It is for cleaning the wound, not for leaving on under a plaster indefinitely, and it is not a substitute for removing embedded grit. Keep the spray out of the eyes and away from the mouth and ears. Wounds that gape, that keep bleeding, that contain glass or grit, or that came from a bite need assessment rather than cleaning at home.
