Description
Femfresh Wash Pure and Fresh is a cleanser for the external intimate area, supplied in a 150ml bottle, a size that suits a wash bag or hand luggage. It is a cosmetic product rather than a licensed medicine, so it does not treat thrush, bacterial vaginosis or any other infection. It is used on the vulva during a bath or shower and rinsed off.
It is not for use inside the vagina, and douching is not advised, because the vagina maintains its own balance of bacteria. An unusual discharge, itching, soreness or a new odour needs assessment rather than a change of washing routine, particularly a first episode or symptoms that keep coming back.
