Description
A rapid antigen lateral flow test for SARS-CoV-2, supplied as a home testing kit and sold for travellers who need a test result before flying. A swab sample is taken as directed, placed in the buffer solution supplied, and applied to the test device, and the result is read within the stated time. The test detects viral proteins and so indicates current infection; it does not detect antibodies, past infection, influenza or any other illness.
A negative result does not rule out COVID-19 and does not replace clinical assessment. Entry and airline requirements differ by destination and change often, so check what your destination and carrier currently require before you travel.
