Description
Hycosan Original is a preservative free lubricating eye drop containing 0.1% sodium hyaluronate, supplied in a 7.5ml multidose bottle. The bottle uses a filtered dispensing system, which is what allows a multidose preparation to go without a preservative. It is used for dry, gritty or tired eyes, and can be instilled as often as needed.
Press the base of the bottle to deliver a single drop into the eye, and do not let the tip touch the eye or the lashes. Write the date of opening on the carton and discard the bottle six months after opening, or sooner if the pack states a shorter period. Dryness that does not settle, and any eye pain, sensitivity to light or change in vision, needs assessment rather than continued self treatment.
