Description
Johnson’s Baby Oil is a light mineral oil used on a baby’s skin after a bath, applied while the skin is still slightly damp so that water is held in rather than lost. A few drops are warmed between the hands and smoothed over the arms, legs and body, and the oil spreads far enough for baby massage. It is also used by adults on dry skin and to remove make up.
Oil makes skin, hands and bath surfaces slippery, so hold the baby firmly and rinse the bath afterwards. Keep it out of the eyes and the mouth, and never put oil into an ear or a nostril. It is a cosmetic product and does not treat eczema, cradle cap or any other condition; stop if the skin reacts.
