Description
KY Jelly is a water based lubricating jelly in a 75ml tube. It is used to reduce friction during sex and for vaginal dryness, and jellies of this kind are also used to ease the insertion of a thermometer or a similar instrument. It is unflavoured and colourless, and it washes off with warm water rather than leaving an oily film.
Apply a small amount to whichever area needs it and reapply as often as required; a little water will refresh it if it starts to feel tacky. Dryness that is persistent rather than occasional is worth raising with a pharmacist or GP. Stop using it if the skin becomes sore, itchy or stings, and replace the cap after use.
