Description
A 30g tube of cooling gel for minor burns and scalds. It is applied after the burn has been cooled, not instead of cooling: hold the area under cool running water for twenty minutes first, remove any jewellery or tight clothing from the area before it swells, and only then apply the gel to intact, dry skin. Spread a thin layer over the reddened area and leave it uncovered, or cover it loosely with a non fluffy dressing or clean film.
Do not use it on broken skin or blisters, in the eyes, or on a burn that has already been dressed. A burn larger than the palm of the hand, any burn to the face, hands, feet or genitals, a burn that blisters, and any chemical or electrical burn all need medical assessment rather than treatment at home.
