Anusol Suppositories

Price range: £7.99 through £10.99

Anusol Suppositories for the symptoms of internal haemorrhoids and anal itching. General sale.

Description

Anusol Suppositories are used for the symptoms of internal haemorrhoids, also called piles, and for anal itching and related discomfort. The formulation is astringent and protective rather than anaesthetic, and it works by soothing irritated tissue and forming a protective layer over it. A suppository is inserted into the back passage, generally at night, in the morning and after a bowel movement, following the leaflet.

Wash your hands before and after use. This is a short term treatment; if symptoms have not settled after seven days, ask a pharmacist or doctor. Bleeding from the back passage, a change in bowel habit lasting more than a few days, or severe pain should be assessed by a doctor rather than treated by continuing with a self care product.
