Description
Twenty clear washproof plasters in assorted sizes, so a small cut on a finger and a longer graze on a forearm can both be covered from the same box. The transparent film backing resists water during hand washing and wipes clean, and it leaves the skin around the pad visible. Clean the wound, dry the skin thoroughly, then choose a size that lets the pad cover the wound with adhesive on undamaged skin all round, and smooth the border down.
Film backed plasters trap moisture more than woven ones, so change them at least daily and allow the skin to dry before applying another. Replace one sooner if it lifts or gets wet through. A wound that is deep, still bleeding, or contaminated needs assessment rather than a plaster.
