Description
A bath brush has bristles set at the end of a long handle so the back and the lower legs can be reached and washed without twisting. It is used wet, with soap or shower gel worked into the bristles, and drawn over the body with moderate pressure rather than hard scrubbing. Bristles are firmer than a sponge, so it is worth going lightly on skin that marks easily, and avoiding any area that is broken, sore or sunburnt.
Rinse the brush after use, shake the water out and hang it to dry so the bristles do not sit damp. Do not share a bath brush between people. The handle length, bristle type and whether the head detaches are given on the packaging.
