Description
A pack of three protective shields worn over a corn on the foot. Each shield is a soft ring or pad that sits around the corn so that the pressure of a shoe falls on the padding rather than on the sore area. The foot is washed and dried, the backing is removed, and the shield is positioned with the corn in the centre of the opening.
Shields relieve pressure while a corn settles; they do not remove hard skin themselves. Corns come back if the rubbing that caused them continues, so footwear that fits properly matters. Anyone with diabetes, reduced feeling in the feet or poor circulation should see a podiatrist rather than self treating.
- Three protective foot shields per pack
- Worn over a corn to take pressure off the area
- Padding only, does not remove hard skin
- Self care is not appropriate with diabetes or poor circulation
