Description
Cetraben Cream is a paraffin based emollient for dry, itchy and scaling skin conditions including eczema and dermatitis. It contains white soft paraffin and light liquid paraffin in a cream base, which absorbs reasonably quickly for a paraffin product and can be used under clothing. It is smoothed on generously in the direction the hair grows, as often as the skin needs it, and it can be used instead of soap in the bath or shower.
Applying it while the skin is still slightly damp holds more water in. Paraffin soaks into dressings, clothing and bedding and makes them catch fire far more easily, so keep away from naked flames, heaters and lit cigarettes, and wash fabrics often, knowing that washing does not always remove the residue.
