Description
Cetraben Cream is an emollient for dry skin, supplied here as a 500g pump pack. An emollient works by adding oil to the skin and reducing water loss from it, which softens dry, rough or flaky skin and helps relieve the tightness and itch that go with it. It is applied liberally and as often as needed, smoothed in the direction the hair grows rather than rubbed in hard, and it can be used before or after washing.
The pump pack is intended to keep the cream clean in use, which matters when large amounts are applied over a long period. Emollients applied to the skin can soak into dressings, clothing and bedding, and fabric with emollient on it burns more easily, so keep away from naked flames and cigarettes.
