Description
Colgate Cool Stripe is a fluoride toothpaste supplied in a 100ml tube, with a mint flavour and the striped paste the name refers to. It is used as an everyday toothpaste: a pea sized amount on the brush, twice a day, brushing every surface of every tooth for two minutes. Spit out afterwards and do not rinse with water, because rinsing removes the fluoride that would otherwise stay in contact with the tooth.
Brushing does not clean the surfaces between the teeth, so floss or an interdental brush is used as well. Persistent bad breath, bleeding gums or a tooth that has turned sensitive are reasons to see a dentist rather than to change toothpaste.
