Description
Colgate Extra Clean is a manual toothbrush with medium filaments and a full sized head. Medium is the firmest grade generally suggested for everyday use; anything harder, or brushing with heavy pressure, can wear enamel at the gum margin and make gums recede. Anyone who brushes firmly, or who already has recession or sensitivity, is usually better with a soft brush.
Use it twice a day for two minutes with a fluoride toothpaste, holding the brush at an angle to the gum line and working in small movements rather than scrubbing along the teeth. Replace it about every three months, or sooner once the filaments splay, since a splayed brush cleans poorly.
