Description
Colgate Total is a fluoride toothpaste in a 125ml tube for everyday use. Fluoride toothpaste is the main way that fluoride reaches the teeth at home, and the benefit comes from brushing regularly rather than from the amount used at any single brushing. Use a pea-sized amount, brush every surface of every tooth for two minutes, twice a day, last thing at night and on one other occasion.
Spit afterwards and do not rinse with water, so the fluoride left on the teeth is not washed straight off. Brushing alone does not clean between the teeth, so floss or an interdental brush is used alongside it once a day.
