Description
DenTek Temporary Repair Kit is a home kit for the short term repair of a lost filling or a loose crown or cap, until a dentist can see you. It is used to fill a cavity where a filling has come out, or to re-seat a crown that has come off, following the directions in the pack on a clean and dried tooth. It is a stopgap and nothing more: the underlying tooth still needs treating, and leaving a temporary repair in place instead of seeing a dentist can allow decay to continue underneath.
Seek advice rather than covering a tooth that is painful, since pain can mean the nerve is involved. Arrange a dental appointment as soon as you can, and take the crown with you if one came off.
