Description

Driclor Antiperspirant is a roll-on solution of aluminium chloride hexahydrate in alcohol, used for excessive sweating of the underarms, hands and feet. The aluminium salt blocks the sweat ducts near the skin surface so that less sweat is released. It is applied at bedtime to skin that is completely dry, left on overnight, and washed off with water in the morning; nothing further is applied during the day.

Do not use it straight after shaving, waxing or a bath, as this is when stinging and irritation are most likely. As sweating comes under control, the gap between applications is usually lengthened. Avoid broken or sore skin and keep it away from the eyes. The solution contains alcohol and is flammable, so let it dry fully before dressing and keep it away from naked flames. Stop using it and ask the pharmacist if the skin becomes sore.
