Description
Twenty plasters with a transparent film backing designed to keep water away from the wound while the plaster is worn. The film is sealed on all four sides around the pad, which is what stops water tracking in at the edges, and it stays clear so the skin around the pad remains visible. Dry the skin completely before applying, because any moisture left under the adhesive breaks the seal from the start, then press the border down firmly from the pad outwards.
Change the plaster daily, and straight away if water has got in or an edge has lifted. Film backings hold moisture against the skin, so let the area dry before the next one goes on. A deep, gaping or heavily bleeding wound needs assessment rather than a plaster.
