Description
Emollin is an emollient spray based on soft paraffin and liquid paraffin, delivered from a pump so it can be put on without touching the skin. That suits skin that is too sore or too fragile to rub, areas that are hard to reach, and anyone who cannot easily apply a cream by hand. Hold the nozzle a short distance from the skin, spray to cover the area, and spread gently only if needed.
It can be used as often as the skin needs it. The paraffin content is high, so treat it as a fire risk: residue in clothing, bedding and dressings makes them catch fire easily. Do not spray near a naked flame or while anyone is smoking, and keep the spray away from the eyes.
