Description
GlucoRx CarePoint pen needles are single use needles for injecting insulin with a pen device. These are 31 gauge and 6mm long, a middle length among the sizes commonly supplied. Gauge describes thickness, and a higher number means a thinner needle. Which length suits you is a clinical decision, so follow the advice of the diabetes team.
Fit a fresh needle for each injection, prime the pen as its instructions describe, and remove the needle afterwards rather than leaving it attached. Used needles go into a sharps bin and never into household waste, and needles are never shared. Rotating injection sites reduces the risk of lumps forming under the skin, which can make insulin absorption less predictable. Supplied as 100 needles.
