Description
GlucoRx FinePoint Ultra pen needles are single use needles for injecting insulin with a pen device. These are 31 gauge and 5mm long. The gauge describes the thickness of the needle, with a higher number meaning a thinner needle, and the length describes how far it goes in. Which length suits you is a clinical decision, so follow the advice of the diabetes team rather than switching length on your own.
Fit a fresh needle for each injection, prime the pen as its instructions describe, and remove the needle afterwards so insulin cannot leak and air cannot enter the cartridge. Used needles go into a sharps bin, never into household waste, and needles are never shared. Supplied as 100 needles.
