Description
This is a home highlighting kit for lightening sections of hair rather than colouring all of it. A kit of this kind contains a lightening powder or cream and a peroxide developer that are mixed together immediately before use, with the items needed to apply the mixture and to keep treated strands separate from the rest of the hair.
The mixture is applied to the chosen sections, left for the time given in the leaflet with the colour checked regularly, then rinsed out thoroughly. An allergy alert test and a strand test are both needed before every use, following the timings in the leaflet. Do not use on hair treated with henna or a metallic dye, and never on eyebrows or eyelashes.
