Description
MacuShield is a food supplement supplied as 30 capsules and taken as one capsule a day, so the pack covers about a month. The range is built around the macular carotenoids lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin, the pigments concentrated in the central part of the retina, which the body obtains from the diet rather than making for itself.
Swallow the capsule whole with water, usually with a meal, and do not take more than the stated daily amount. A supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet and is not a treatment for any eye condition. If you have an eye diagnosis, keep your optometry or ophthalmology appointments, and report any change in vision rather than waiting for the next one.
