Nicorette Invisipatch is a nicotine replacement therapy worn on the skin, supplied in 10mg, 15mg and 25mg strengths. The patch releases nicotine steadily through the skin, which keeps the background craving and withdrawal symptoms of stopping smoking under control. The strength at which the course starts depends on how heavily you smoked, and it is stepped down over the weeks that follow.
One patch is applied each day to clean, dry, hairless skin on the upper body or arm, and a different site is used each day so that the skin is not irritated. Mild redness or itching under the patch is common and usually settles. Tell a pharmacist if you have heart or circulatory disease, a skin condition such as eczema or psoriasis, diabetes, or kidney or liver problems.
