NiQuitin Clear patches are a nicotine replacement therapy worn on the skin. The patch releases nicotine steadily through the skin over a full day, which keeps the background craving and withdrawal symptoms of stopping smoking under control without the peaks of a smoked cigarette. The range is arranged in three steps, and the course starts at the step that matches how heavily you smoked before moving down.
One patch is applied each day to clean, dry, hairless skin on the upper body or arm, and a different site is used each day to reduce skin irritation. Mild redness or itching under the patch is common. If sleep is disturbed, the leaflet explains what to do.
