Description

Sudocrem is an antiseptic healing cream applied to the skin. It is licensed for nappy rash, and is also used for minor burns, surface wounds, bed sores, eczema, acne and chilblains, and to soothe and protect sore or broken skin. It contains zinc oxide, which forms a water repellent barrier over the skin, benzyl alcohol, which has a mild local anaesthetic and antiseptic action, and benzyl benzoate and benzyl cinnamate.

Apply a thin layer to clean skin with a fingertip, using a gentle circular movement until it disappears and leaves a slight sheen; a thick layer is not needed and is harder to remove. It is not for use in the eyes. Stop using it if the skin becomes more red or irritated, and seek advice if a wound looks infected or is not healing. Read the leaflet supplied with the pack before use.
