Description
Anhydrol Forte is a roll-on solution containing aluminium chloride hexahydrate in an alcohol base, used for excessive sweating of the underarms, hands and feet. The aluminium salt forms plugs in the sweat ducts near the skin surface, so less sweat reaches the skin. It is applied at night to skin that is completely dry, left on while you sleep, and washed off with water in the morning, with nothing further applied during the day.
Sweating is at its lowest overnight, which is why the timing matters. Applying it to damp skin, or too soon after shaving or hair removal, makes stinging and irritation much more likely. Once sweating is under control most people apply it less often. Do not use it on broken, sore or recently shaved skin, or near the eyes. The solution is flammable, so let it dry and keep it away from flames.
