Blephaclean Preservative Free Wipes are sterile eyelid cleansing pads supplied in 20 individually sealed sachets, with no preservative in the formulation. They are used for daily lid hygiene in blepharitis and in dry eye involving the lid margins, and the format suits skin around the eye that reacts to preserved cleansers.
Open one sachet, close the eye, and wipe gently along the lash line and lid margin, taking a separate pad for the second eye. The pad is not rinsed off and is not used on the surface of the eye. Discard each pad after use. Improvement in the lid margins usually takes weeks of daily cleaning rather than days. Eye pain, sensitivity to light or any change in vision needs assessment.
