Description
Oral-B Essential Dental Floss is a mint flavoured floss supplied on a 50 metre spool in a dispenser. Floss is used to clean the surfaces between the teeth and just under the gumline, where the filaments of a toothbrush do not reach. A length of about 45 centimetres is wound around the fingers, guided between two teeth without snapping it down onto the gum, and then curved against the side of each tooth in turn and moved up and down.
It is generally used once a day. A dentist or hygienist can advise whether floss or an interdental brush suits the spaces between your own teeth. Some bleeding when starting is common and usually settles.
