Description
Tampax Regular Tampons with Applicator are tampons in the regular absorbency supplied with an applicator, twenty to a pack. The applicator guides the tampon into place, and it is thrown away afterwards rather than flushed. Regular is the grade for the ordinary days of a period, and the lowest absorbency that copes with the flow is the one to use.
The tampon is changed at least every four to eight hours and is never left in for more than eight, only one is worn at a time, and the last one is taken out when bleeding stops. Toxic shock syndrome is rare but serious: anyone who develops a high fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness or a rash resembling sunburn while using a tampon should remove it and get urgent medical advice.
