Description
Unguentum M is a rich emollient cream for dry skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. It sits between a cream and an ointment. The oil content is high, so it holds water in the skin better than a light lotion, but it still rubs in and is less greasy than an ointment. It can be used as a leave on moisturiser, in place of soap for washing, and in the bath or shower.
Apply as often as the skin needs it and always after washing, smoothing it on in the direction of hair growth. It contains paraffins, so treat the residue as a fire risk: clothing, bedding and dressings carrying it catch fire more easily. The 500g pot suits regular whole body use.
