Description
Nicorette QuickMist is a nicotine replacement therapy presented as an oromucosal spray. It delivers nicotine through the lining of the mouth, which eases the craving and withdrawal symptoms that follow stopping smoking without the smoke and tar of a cigarette. Each spray delivers 1mg of nicotine. The nozzle is aimed at the inside of the cheek, away from the back of the throat, and a spray is used when the urge to smoke would normally have been felt; a second spray may be used if one is not enough.
Do not inhale while spraying, and avoid swallowing for a few seconds afterwards. The daily maximum is set out in the leaflet and should not be exceeded. Tell a pharmacist if you have heart or circulatory disease, diabetes, kidney or liver problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
